Who am I? Good question…When I was younger, I remember having a hard time understanding who I was and who I was meant to be. Growing up I never had anyone to instill confidence in me or encourage all the possibilities of who I could be. I would often ask myself “Who am I?” And it was difficult to define, because I was trying to define myself based on other’s expectations of my life and characteristics that other people would like about me. I tried to embodied those things. But what I grew to realize is that GOD DID NOT CREATE ME TO BE ANYTHING OR ANYONE BUT ME! HE DID NOT CREATE ME TO FIT IN ANYONE’S BOX. Trying to blend in with others caused me to fade into the background when God called me to be a #LIGHT in this world! The more I grew in my relationship with God, the more I understood that He uniquely created me with a purpose in this world that ONLY I could fulfill. And I have to be my absolute self in order to fulfill it! Now, I LOVE the things about me that make me different. And I’m BOLD enough to unapologetically display it EVERYWHERE I go. So, who am I? I’m an independent, ambitious, process oriented, gentle hearted woman of God. I’m loving, silly, laid back, adventurous, extra, quirky, cautious, observant, creative, animated, dramatic, and a stern leader…. I’M ALL THAT AND MORE! And I use all my differences to uniquely impact the lives of my sphere of influence – from my workplace to my family! There is an undeniable, incomparable value in being YOU that NO ONE can take away! BE YOU! Embrace ALL that makes you YOU! And LOVE EVERY part of YOU! Watch how far it takes you! ????
