#PearlsofGratitude Day 7 – I thank God for a life of purpose.
Yesterday’s passing of Michael K Williams was heartbreaking. And seeing/ knowing how great of an impact he had in this world was inspiring. Not only was he a great actor, but he was also a community activists here in NYC. He used his influence to uplift our youth, and build police-community relations.
I read a caption he posted that REALLY hit home for me….. In it, he said “I’m tired of wasting time worrying about what people think of me, self doubt and fear, I’d rather trade all that in for a purpose driven life…..”
And certainly, he did live a purpose driven life. 💙
It’s not about how you die, it’s about how you LIVE.
Christ died & resurrected so that we could LIVE a life of purpose without fear. He overcame the world so that we could do the same! It’s so easy to get caught up in what people think, fears, and doubt. But we can trade that ALL into the hands of God… and take hold of our faith and press towards fulfilling the very calling God has created us for.
Everyday we live has purpose, and YOU have purpose in everday! And most importantly, everyday God is with you! His grace sustains us every step of the way as we pursue our God-given passion. Just keep going!!
Who or what is keeping you from fulfilling your God-given purpose? 🤔 Let’s move that mountain with faith and courage!!
Today I challenge you, and MYSELF, to trade in those thoughts of what others think of you, your fears and your self-doubts, for a purpose driven life. 💙
With Love, The Pearl 💙
